About Warwick, Oklahoma: Fueling Mother Road History Since 1921

Warwick lies along the 1926-1985 alignment of Route 66 in Lincoln County. This unincorporated community emerged in the early 20th century as a modest yet welcoming stop for travelers making their way across Oklahoma

Its most famous landmark, Seaba's Station, defines the community's legacy. Built in 1921 by John Seaba, a full five years before Route 66 was even officially commissioned, the striking red-brick building originally served as a gas station and essential garage. It quickly became an indispensable hub for early Mother Road motorists. After decades of service, the station was meticulously restored in 2007 and reopened as the acclaimed Seaba Station Motorcycle Museum.

Today, visitors can explore an impressive collection of vintage motorcycles, memorabilia, and exhibits that celebrate both two-wheeled travel and deep Route 66 history. The building itself is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places

Warwick's close proximity to Chandler's Route 66 attractions and participation in nearby events, such as the Stroud Summer Festival, supported by the Oklahoma Route 66 Association, ensures that this quiet community's role in Mother Road history remains well preserved and celebrated.
